I was darkened with sin,
Until I let Jesus light in,

He took away my horrible shame,
When I called upon His name,

He cradled me in His arms so tight,
And protected me from further plight,

He touched my broken heart,
Removing the painful memory part,

He clothed me in a robe so white,
Pure, clean & oh so bright,

He danced with me through the night,
He danced with me until the morning light,

He filled me with His light so true,
That my heart overfloweth with love anew,

Thank You, Jesus, for Your love,
So soft & warm as if in the wings of a dove !
